With 5 levels of difficulty and a behavior modeled to make human mistakes, this is a very fun game to play. Make it singleplayer, take the controls of the Nintendo DS Zelda games, take the procedurally generated levels of Four Swords, take the outfits from Tri Force Heroes and the Shadow Link Battles from A Link Between Worlds and all of this would make an entertaining mix for Zelda fans, who want to game from time to time on their smartphones. I apologize for those of you who think I should stick to my chronology and only look at historical games, but I promise I won't play new releases that often. I've left five games from 1988 in various states of incompletion: The Bard's Tale III, BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception, Sentinel Worlds, Star Command, and Wizardry V. The easiest thing to do would be to write them all off and start fresh with 1989, and I may do that, but I want to think about it first. I've played plenty of CRPGs in which I buffed myself before dangerous combats; I don't think I've ever played one in which a foe actually made me turn around and run. None of these things are what I stopped playing CRPGs to do, and playing games, and writing this blog, while overall about as useful as anything else I've been doing, at least lets me document my experiences and interact with interesting people.
Some have a larger focus on building (such as cities, theme parks or zoos) while other focus more on managing finances, staff or moods of customers. I realize it's more realistic this way, but I still find it annoying. I've yet to visit the capital, Solitude, nor to find the Imperial Legion, the Blades, the mage's college, the bard's college, or the Thieves' Guild. I don't mind tough combats, but don't make me wander through two hours' of corridors to find an amulet. Going from fortnite to another often takes a long time as you try to find passes and climbable slopes. Orcs were not going to suddenly rise from behind the wall and snipe at me with bows. Before I do, I'm going to offer a posting on the 1970s dnd, because I already have it half-written. But there was never going to be anything else to stoke the sparks of mystery about the place.
